Updated Accreditation Manual (4.16.2015) The Accreditation Manual has been updated and is available in the Standards of Accreditation section of this web site.
Portal Purge and File Retention (4.16.2015) The ARC-PA completed its purge of documents from program portals dated before 2014. Only those the documents submitted by the program via the portal and not those sent from the ARC-PA to the program were purged.For more information......
Clinical Postgraduate PA Program Annual Report (1.27.2015): Accredited Clinical Postgraduate PA programs will NOT have to complete the ARC-PA Program Management Portal (Portal) Annual reports due for the 2014-2015 time period, but are asked to update and maintain as current their portal data in all tabs except the budget tab. .......more
Clinical Postgraduate Accreditation in Abeyance (8.4.2014) The current accreditation process for Clinical Postgraduate PA programs is being held in abeyance. Abeyance applies to those programs with the status of Accreditation – Clinical Postgraduate Program as well as those that have received correspondence with a formal timeline to attain accreditation by the commission. Portal SCPE Directions (5.13.2014) A special SCPE Directions document is available on the Accreditation Resources page of this site. As communicated previously in the Notes to Program (spring 2014) all programs are required to update their SCPE tab data by July 31, 2014. There will not be a submit button displayed on the portal dashboard for report submission. All that is required is to have the tab updated by the due date.
IMPORTANT SOFTWARE REMINDER TO PROGRAMS: (12.2014) All application documents, templates, change forms and reports due to the ARC-PA are developed in Microsoft Office 2010 and may not be compatible with Office 2007 and earlier. Programs must be able to complete forms and applications in current software.
